So I'm new to the blogging world and am not sure what the proper etiquette is. When someone asks a question on your comments do you go to their blog and answer or do you answer on yours? I've been faced with this dilemma many times and I'm never quite sure what to do. Someone please help me because I'm a little confused.

I don't know what the proper etiquette is but this is how I do it:
If someone asks me a question in the comments section of my blog - then that's where I will answer the question.
However, if I have the individual's email address, I might just respond in an email instead.
If I leave a question on someone elses comment section then I'll usually check back later to see if they answered it. But sometimes I forget to look at their comments again. After I read a post I don't always go back and read the comments again.
A lot of people answer on their own blog. If someone asks me a question that I think everyone will probably want to know an answer to after reading my blog, then I respond on my own blog. However, when people ask me a question I usually respond on their blog because I know they'll for sure see it.
I think everyone wonders this and you are the only one cool enough to ask.
I do both, am totally inconsistent, never check back for answers if I ask questions and am probably totally rude. I figure if it's important enough, the answer will be known eventually.
I like Anna's comment. . . not only because it says you're cool. . . but also because it does all seem to work its way out. I ask questions but rarely look back at the comments again for an answer. If I really care for the answer I usually ask again when I talk to that person or I will check back.
So. . . since I did ask a question in your last post I did go back and check. I'm so glad to meet another Mac-lover. Actually, everyone I meet that has a Mac swears by them and will never go any other way. And they all say they've never had problems. So, yes, have Rob work his magical powers on Ryan. I'm thinking a Mac would make a very Merry Christmas. . .
Oh crap, I don't know. It's good you asked because I've apparently been doing it wrong. If you ask me a question, I answer on your blog. I never check back to where I asked my questions. I guess I'm totally missing out.
I JUST saw you answered mine from forever ago, I promise I'm not ignoring you! I just have bad blog etiquette. We're party animals on Thursdays and Fridays and sometimes Saturdays if you guys ever need some play time with another family of three. We miss you guys!

Anna's right, you're cool. I'm really inconsistent, but I think I usually answer the question on their blog so they'll for sure see it.
I'm glad you asked this question- I was wondering the same thing. Anyway, do not worry about yesterday! I know things come up! Next friday sounds good, I'll just have to make sure Tony can take over my babysitting. Btw, thanks for the compliment on my 10things post(:
